How to set up a booking link for your service business

Updated October 29, 2026 · 5 min read

Short answer

A booking link is your own page where clients pick a service, a staff member, a day and a time without messaging you. To set one up, add services with duration and price, set each person's hours, add your brand, show how to pay, and share it in your bio, on WhatsApp and on a QR code. It works whether you have a shop or go to clients' homes.

What a good booking link needs

A booking link works when clients can finish on their own, in a few steps and with no doubts. That means they should only see what they can actually book: available services and your team's open slots, nothing else.

In Agendorio every business gets a link like agendorio.buildev.co/your-business. Clients go through four steps —service, staff member, time and their details (name and WhatsApp number)— with no account and nothing to download. When they confirm, they get an appointment code they can later use to look it up, change it or cancel it.

  • Clear services with name, duration and price.
  • Only the times when someone can really serve them.
  • Your name, logo and colors, so it's obviously your business.
  • How to pay, before the client has to ask.

Step 1: add your services with duration and price

Each service needs a short, recognizable name, how long it takes and how much it costs. Duration matters most: it's the time the system blocks in the schedule of whoever does the work. If you need minutes to prepare, clean up or travel, add them to the duration; otherwise you'll end up with appointments packed back to back.

If a service is free, set the price to 0. If you stop offering it for a while, pause it: it disappears from booking, but the appointments it already had stay in place.

Step 2: set up your team and their hours

Add each staff member with the days and hours they work. If there's a lunch or a break, add it as a pause: the day splits in two and nobody can book that slot. Each person shows up on your page only during their own hours.

If you work alone, set your own hours anyway: they decide which slots your clients see. And if you won't be working on a given day, block it in the schedule before someone takes it.

Step 3: give it your brand

A generic link feels untrustworthy. In “Marca y apariencia” (brand and appearance) you can pick a ready-made theme or your own colors, upload your logo and a cover image, write a short description and choose light or dark mode. Your logo is also the page icon when a client saves it.

Add your WhatsApp contact number too, so anyone with a question before booking can message you from the same page.

Step 4: show how clients can pay

One of the questions that comes up most in chats is “how do I pay you?”. Answer it once: in “Métodos de pago” (payment methods) you add Nequi, Daviplata, Bre-B key, bank account, payment link, cash or card terminal, with the number to copy and, if you like, your QR code. Clients see them when they book and in “Mi cita” (my appointment). Agendorio doesn't collect money for you: payments go straight to your account and you record them on the appointment.

Step 5: share it where people already find you

A link nobody sees gets no bookings. Put it wherever clients message you today:

  1. In your Instagram or TikTok bio, as the main link.
  2. In your WhatsApp status and as a quick reply, to send whenever someone asks “any openings?”.
  3. In your business's Google profile, in the website or booking field.
  4. On a printed QR code: on your business card, on the door, or on whatever you hand out after a service.

If you go to clients' homes

The link works the same without a shop. In Agendorio the location is optional: if you leave it out, your page simply doesn't show directions. What does change is duration: add travel time to each service so the schedule doesn't put two appointments in different places with no margin.

Example: if a service takes 60 minutes and you usually need 30 to get there, set it to 90 minutes.

If you also want the chat answered for you, see how to stop booking appointments by hand on WhatsApp.

Common mistakes

Using the “ideal” service duration instead of the real one.
Use what it really takes, prep, cleanup or travel included.
Leaving slots open on days you don't work.
Check the days your business is open and block the times you can't take clients.
Posting the link once and forgetting about it.
Keep it pinned in your bio, your status and your quick replies, and send it every time someone asks about openings.
Not showing how to pay.
Add your payment methods so clients don't have to message you again just to ask.

Questions about this topic

Do I need a website to have a booking link?

No. In Agendorio the link is already its own page, with your name and brand, at agendorio.buildev.co/your-business. Share it as is on your social profiles, on WhatsApp or with a QR code.

What if a client books and then can't make it?

With the code they got when booking, they open “Mi cita” (my appointment) from your page and change the date, time or staff member, or cancel. You see the change in the dashboard's notifications bell.

Can we share one link if there are several of us?

Yes. It's one link for the whole business: clients choose the service, then who they want the appointment with, and only see each person's open slots.

How do I test the link before sharing it?

Open it from “Ver mi página de reservas” (view my booking page) in the dashboard and make a test booking as if you were a client. That way you check services, hours and payment methods before you publish it.
